Lucas Brown took charge in the opening R&G British Talent Cup practice session, beating Julian Correa with a best lap of 1min: 47.630s.
It was enough to take him 0.857s clear of Correa, as Ryan Frost ended the session third and just 0.046s adrift of Correa.
Filip Surowiak was fourth quickest with Harrison Mackay fifth.
