Jack Kennedy pipped Luke Stapleford to pole ahead of today’s Supersport Sprint race, with a best lap of 1min 28.548s.
As defending champion Ben Currie crashed out, it became a battle between Kennedy and Stapleford to bank pole, with Kennedy taking it by 0.667secs.
Joe Sheldon-Shaw will line up third on the grid, as GP2 champion Owen will head Row Two in fourth position, with Eugene McManus fifth.
Keo Walker was the next best of the GP2 riders, albeit in 25th position overall with Jack Nixon third.
And in the Cup class, Cameron Hall was quickest with Adon Davie second and Tom Tunstall third.
