Just one point separates Kyle Ryde and Tommy Bridewell ahead of the final race day of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship season at Brands Hatch as tomorrow’s (Sunday) two crucial races will decide the destiny of the 2024 title.
The weekend got underway with four points separating Ryde from defending champion Bridewell, but with the Honda Racing UK rider finishing third ahead of his OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing rival, the points gap narrowed to a single point.
Glenn Irwin battled to close the 46-point deficit after starting 15th on the grid but he crashed the Hager PBM Ducati and now he has a 70-point gap to the top with only 70 points available from the two races tomorrow.
