Kyle Ryde lead the way in today’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session as he stayed ahead of his rivals after winning the opening race for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing team yesterday.
Ryde set the fastest time of the session, which put him 0.267s clear of Leon Haslam and the ROKiT BMW Motorrad Team and Jason O'Halloran who held third for Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki as again three different manufacturers featured in the top three positions.
Josh Brookes had a strong start to the day in fourth place for the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad team, with Glenn Irwin and reigning champion Tommy Bridewell completing the top six.
Danny Kent was seventh fastest on the times for the McAMS Racing Yamaha team, with Andrew Irwin surging into the top ten ahead of Max Cook and Lee Jackson.
