World Supersport race winner Can Oncu threw down the gauntlet to his Supersport rivals as he shot to pole with a hot lap of 1min 29.896secs.
The Turkish rider beat Luke Stapleford by 0.332secs, who set an identical lap time to Tom Booth-Amos, ahead of this afternoon’s Sprint race.
Reigning champion Ben Currie will head row two, alongside multiple champion Jack Kennedy who clocked the fifth fastest lap.
In the GP2 class, Jack Nixon continued to lead the way, with his Kramer Racing team-mate Owen Jenner second. Lucca Allen was third, but will have to fight through the LCQ to guarantee himself a place on the grid.
And in the Cup class, Adon Davie was quickest, followed by Cameron Hall with ROKiT Rookie Mikey Hardie third.
