World Championship contenders PTR Triumph will line up on the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship grid this weekend with Tom Booth-Amos and Ondrej Vostatek at Donington Park.

Booth-Amos is a previous race winner in the championship, having finished runner-up in last year’s title battle, whilst for 19-year-old Czech rider Vostatek it will be his first appearance at the circuit. The PTR Triumph team will be utilising the track time in preparation for the FIM Supersport World Championship round at the circuit in July.

Booth-Amos said: “Back to BSB this week at Donington Park and I’m looking forward to getting out on the PTR Triumph and getting some important information ahead of the WorldSSP race in a few weeks.”

Vostatek added: “This will be my first time in the British Superbike paddock.  I don’t really know what to expect, but we are going to try some new things on the bike.  I have been working really hard to improve my physical ability and I think I am moving forward.  I am really excited about this weekend; I want to focus on the track and the setting of the bike.”

PTR Triumph Team Manager Simon Buckmaster concluded: “We are really looking forward to our wild card entry to the British Supersport Championship at Donington Park this weekend. It’s a great series and it will be a fantastic opportunity for us to do some proper race testing for when we go back there for the world round. Tom and Ondrej are really looking forward to it.  I’d like to thank Stuart Higgs for giving us the chance to come and be part of the series and we hope to see a lot of fans there.”
