R&G British Talent Cup: Frost victorious after last lap battle

20 July 2024

Ryan Frost emerged victorious at the end of a hectic final lap in the opening R&G British Talent Cup race.

In typical BTC style, it all came down to the last lap after race where the lead had changed several times, as polesitter Lucas

Brown hit the front with a move on Filip Surowiak into Paddock Hill Bend. As Surowiak tried to get it back into Druids he ran wide, allowing Brown and Amanuel Brinton through, Brinton taking the lead briefly until Frost came through to lead before also running wide.

Brown was now back ahead but Frost wasn’t done yet, as he took advantage of slipstream to pass his rival over the line to take the win by 0.082secs.

Surowiak finished second with Brown behind him in third as Brinton took fourth and Julian Correa fifth.
