Honda Racing’s Jack Kennedy led the way as the action began at Brands Hatch, ending FP1 almost half a second clear of Luke Stapleford.
Kennedy’s best lap of 1min 28.614secs gave him 0.420secs over Macadam Triumph Racing’s Stapleford, as reigning champion Ben Currie banked the third best time.
Russell Racing’s Richard Cooper – fresh from clocking the best lap in the Sportbike series in the session previous – was fourth quickest as Alastair Seeley rounded out the top five.
Jack Nixon was first in the GP2 class and 20th overall, with his Kramer Racing team-mate Owen Jenner second and Keo Walker third.
In the Cup class, ROKiT Rookie Mikey Hardie led, ending the sessions 19th overall with Cameron Hall second and Tom Tunstall third.
