Track Dudes will expand into the all-new Pirelli National Sportbike Championship this season as 19-year-old Chloe Jones joins the team alongside Richard White who lines up in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.
Jones joins the team after competing in the HEL British Junior Supersport Championship in 2023, with the highlight including a second place at Oulton Park. Track Dudes, together with backing from his sponsors and technical input from Hilltop Motorcycles, will now support the Daventry-based racer, putting together a package with the Aprilia RS660.
Jones said: “I really can't thank Richard and Ruth at Track Dudes enough for giving me this opportunity to ride in such an amazing team, and to Geoff at Hilltop Motorcycles for his excellent technical support. Having just tested the Aprilia at Jerez I can say it’s a brilliant bike and Track Dudes is an amazing set-up to be involved in.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to the BSB paddock and getting the season started in the new Pirelli National Sportbike Championship on the Track Dudes Aprilia RS660. Everyone expects it will be a highly competitive class packed with excitement in its inaugural year, so I'm excited to see how I can do. Having achieved a podium finish last year in Junior Supersport I feel I'm ready to push on in this new class — I really can't wait to get going!"
Track Dudes founder White commented: "Chloe and her dad Richard have been coming along to our track days for testing for a while. I've seen some real progress to the point where my partner Ruth and I started helping her out with some track time to help her prepare and were both really impressed with how she fared against some fast young riders in the Junior Supersport Championship.
“Having made some great progress myself last season, scoring points with a best finish of 12th, I'll continue racing in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 class with my sights firmly set on the top 10. We've upgraded from an S 1000 RR to the M 1000 RR — which even after a couple of tests feels like a much better bike — so I'm feeling very positive about continuing our progress.
“We're really looking forward to the new season with Track Dudes events growing in popularity and now two Track Dudes team riders competing in two different classes, 2024 should be an exciting year."
