Luke Stapleford set the pace for the weekend as he led the way in the opening Quattro Group British Supersport & GP2/HEL Supersport Cup practice at Thruxton.
The Macadam Triumph Racing rider banked a 1min 17.636sec lap, beating Honda Racing UK’s Jack Kennedy by 0.422s, as Luke Jones ended the session third.
Alastair Seeley held onto the fourth best lap aboard the Binch Pro Yamaha, with TJ Toms rounding out the top five.
ROKiT Rookie Mikey Hardie continued his strong run as he emerged p10 overall and first in the Cup, with team-mate Joe Farragher second and Lewis Jones third.
In the GP2 class, Owen Jenner was once again the man in charge, running in p23 overall with his Kramer Racing team-mate Jack Nixon second and Keo Walker third.
