FHO Racing BMW Motorrad Team’s Josh Brookes claimed the pole position for the opening Pirelli National Superstock Championship race at Silverstone this afternoon, supporting the British round of the MotoGP World Championship.
The Australian held off Tom Ward, who set the pace in yesterday’s Free Practice session as the Amada Marine Cables Racing Honda rider bids to close down the deficit in the standings to Davey Todd and Joe Talbot ahead of him.
Scott Swann completes the front row for Swann Racing Honda as he edged championship leader Talbot back onto row two ahead of standings leader Todd, whilst Peter Hickman completes the top six.
