Thomas Strudwick stormed to another ABK Beer 0% BMW F900 R Cup Main Event win at Cadwell Park to boost his championship lead – as rival Nikki Coates crashed out.
Strudwick took the lead at the start and controlled most of the race but for a few passed by Coates which Strudwick was able to take straight back.
It all came down to a final lap battle but the pair got caught up with backmarkers coming into the Mountain and for the remainder of the lap, and then as they rounded the final corner, Coates slid off into the barriers.
Strudwick celebrated the win with James O’Mara second, Barry Burrell third as Robert Varey was fourth with Christian Smith fifth.
