Jason O'Halloran heads into the Cadwell Park round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship ready to try and bounce back from missing out at Thruxton after a crash in warm up.
O’Halloran had a strong opening race at Thruxton, but a crash following a mechanical issue in warm up meant the Australian was sidelined from Sunday’s two races.
O’Halloran said: “As everyone knows I don’t live too far from Cadwell Park and it is a round that I really look forward to and it is a track that I really enjoy and a track that I have had good success with in the past. I am looking forward to this weekend as we always get loads of local support and it is a track I have lived close to pretty much the whole time I have been in the UK.
“It will be a little bit more difficult than most as I have a couple of injuries off the back of what happened at Thruxton so I will be trying to manage those the best that I can and obviously trying to not let it affect me over the weekend.
“Thruxton and getting the front row start, leading the first race and finishing third was really positive for us and we gained a lot of experience in the first race on Saturday, which I planned to take into the Sundays races but with the bike issue in warm up unforutnatly we didn’t finish the weekend how we wanted to, so I am looking forward to getting back at it this weekend and one of my favourite rounds of the year.”
