Lucas Brown drew first blood as the R&G British Talent Cup pack hit the track at Silverstone as part of the MotoGP weekend, topping the opening session timesheets with a lap of 2min 19.878secs.
Second, and 1.668secs off Brown’s time, was Amanuel Brinton, who just edged out Harrison Mackay. Filip Surowiak was fourth quickest, ahead of Ronnie Harris in fifth.
