Amanuel Brinton saw-off a hard charge from wildcard Marco Morelli to take pole at Thruxton this morning.
Brinton’s best lap of 1min 22.379secs was 0.118secs clear of Morelli, who was fastest during both Friday sessions as Ryan Frost secured third on the grid.
Lucas Brown will head the second row in fourth position, with Julian Correa fifth.
