Nikki Coates went quickest in this morning’s ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup qualifying session to claim pole for Heat One, as his points rival Thomas Strudwick secured the other.
Art of Racing/Ernie Coates Trackdays’ Coates banked a best lap of 1min 21.238secs to go 0.137secs clear of Case Moto BMW’s Strudwick and will lead the grid for Heat One, with Barry Burrell starting alongside him and Kieran Smith third.
For Heat Two, Strudwick will be joined on the front row by Mason Johnson and Robert Varey.
