MasterMac Honda livery breaks cover at Donington Park

08 April 2024

The new MasterMac Honda livery was launched over the weekend as the team took part in the R&G Official Test at Donington Park ahead of the 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

The new look sees the Honda Fireblades of Lee Jackson and Charlie Nesbitt in the colours of title sponsor MasterMac Surfacing complemented by striking orange and yellow highlights respectively.

Both riders also carried the logos of the team’s full 2024 sponsor line-up as they enjoyed an extended spell on track ahead of the season opener at Circuito de Navarra on April 20-21.

Roger James, Managing Director of MasterMac Surfacing, said: “It’s fantastic to see the new MasterMac Honda livery and I think it’s clear that both Charlie’s and Lee’s bikes will stand out from the crowd this season.

“I’m delighted that MasterMac is supporting the team so closely and have every confidence that Steve, the riders and all the crew will be able to deliver some strong results this year.”

Team Manager Steve Hicken said: “We’re proud to be racing as MasterMac Honda this season and the Donington Park test was a great chance for the fans to get an early look at the new livery.

“I’d like to thank MasterMac and all of our sponsors, new and old, for being onboard with us. Their support is vital to the team and we aim to give them some great moments to remember over the course of the season.

“It was great to have Charlie, Lee and the whole team together in decent weather at the weekend to put the new bikes through their paces.

“There’s always a steep learning curve at this time of the year, particular for Lee with us this season given he’s new to the Honda, but we’ll be in good shape for the new campaign and we’re looking forward to the opening race.”
