Former National Champion Steve Brogan will make his racing return this weekend when he lines up with the Belgrave Motors Racing Team in the ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup.
Brogan has a long and established career within the Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock, claiming victories in both the former Evo class and also in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship. Most recently, Brogie has been mentoring riders in the junior classes, including running his own team.
Brogan said: “I didn’t think I would race in a championship again after being retired for a few years, but out of the blue I got a call from Nick and Adrian at Belgrave, who I had met through my Superbike school. Dominic Herbertson, who rode for Belgrave in 2023, had other commitments so the ride was available and it didn’t take long to say yes!
“I am really looking forward to it. It should be great fun and super competitive, but I still feel I can challenge at the sharp end.”
