Richard Cooper and Kieran Smith will both start from pole in tomorrow’s ABK Beer 0% Motorrad F900 R Cup Heats, as points leader Cooper dominated day one.
The FHO Racing BMW Motorrad rider clocked a best lap of 1min 37.106secs, with Smith second quickest and 0.672secs adrift as Cooper’s championship rival Thomas Strudwick was third.
Nikki Coates put in a late lap to move fourth and secure second on the grid alongside Smith in Heat Two, as Smith’s twin brother Christian was fifth to round out the Heat One front row.
James O’Mara was sixth and will line up third on the grid for Heat Two.
