Ted Wilkinson held off a hard-charging Chloe Jones to take the final race win of the weekend at Oulton Park, as rain stopped play on the final lap.
After a race-long scrap where the lead swapped between the two of them several times, Wilkinson finally wrestled the lead back from Jones at the end of lap nine as rain hit.
Moments later, race chiefs stopped the race as the rain worsened with Wilkinson, who’d led over the line at the start of the lap, declared winner with Jones just missing out on her first series win.
Maximus Hardy was third, just ahead of Lewis Smart as Joe Ellis rounded out the top five.
