Sullivan Mounsey saved his best until last as he stole pole in the closing seconds of this morning’s qualifying.
Mounsey’s lap of 1min 47.227secs was enough to leapfrog from third to first with 23 seconds of the session to go, as he knocked points leader Evan Belford off the top spot by 0.149secs.
Third quickest and rounding out the front row was Amanuel Brinton, while Lucas Brown finished fourth with America’s Julian Correa fifth.
