Lennon Docherty held off a charging Finn Smart-Weeden to lead the way as the Junior Supersport machines made a return to action at Oulton Park.
The Symcirrus Motorsport pilot clocked a 1min 52.174sec lap, 0.172secs clear of Smart-Weeden as Jacob Stephenson rounded out the top three.
Ted Wilkinson once again found himself in the top five as he crossed the line with the fourth best time, with Lewis Jones ending the session fifth.
