Billy McConnell will sign-off from the National Superstock class from pole position after the Australian stole the top spot on his final run.
McConnell, set for a move to Superbikes next season, clocked a 1min 27.508secs lap, knocking championship challenger Alastair Seeley down to second by 0.055secs.
Points leader Dan Linfoot, who has controlled the championship all season, set the third quickest time to bank a front row grid spot as Luke Hedger starts fourth and Lewis Rollo fifth.
