Kade Verwey will make his debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship next season as he joins Tactix by Lloyd & Jones BMW in the BSB Pathway class as they expand to a two-rider line-up for their 2024 campaign.
The 23-year-old from Silverstone has progressed through the support classes, finishing runner in the 2019 British Junior Supersport Championship and most recently competing in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.
Verwey said: “I’m really excited to be riding for L1 Racing in the BSB Pathway class onboard the BMW M 1000 RR next season. The pathway class is a fantastic opportunity for me to progress and learn off the best riders whilst getting to grips with the Superbike. I’m really looking forward to getting started; testing and the 2024 season can’t come soon enough.”
Team Principal John Jameson commented: “We are very excited about starting this new chapter with Kade in 2024 onboard the Pathway BMW M 1000 RR. Bringing new talent to the premier class in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship has always been the ethos of our team, and we are looking forward to working with Kade and helping him develop into a Superbike rider.
“The work behind the scenes to build on from our 2023 season has already begun, and with the backing and support from our loyal partners and sponsors, we are gearing up for a busy season ahead.”
