Harrison Dessoy made up for yesterday’s disappointment as he powered to the win in race two – as a devastated Sullivan Mounsey crashed out from second place at the last corner.
Dessoy had taken the lead with two laps to go, and in the final lap it became a three-way battle between him, Mounsey and Evan Belford.
Belford had passed both Dessoy and earlier leader Mounsey at the loop on the final run but ran wide allowing his rivals through, and just as the pair rounded Goddards for the final time, Sullivan crashed.
Harley McCabe finished second ahead of Belford, with polesitter Julian Correa fourth and Ryan Frost fifth.
