Australia’s Jacob Hatch led the way in FP2 as the Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki rider beat Taylor Rose by 0.632s with a lap of 1min 33.211s, to end day one on top at Donington Park.
Behind Rose, it was a close fight for third, as Kier Armstrong ended just 0.022s behind him, with Cameron Dawson just another 0.023s behind in fourth.
Points leader Aaron Silvester rounded out the top five, just 0.155s further back.
