MSVR, the promoter of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) and global online marketplace eBay have signed an extended sponsorship agreement ahead of the 2023 season. This expansion to the official e-commerce partnership will feature a range of new highlights.
eBay will continue to be showcased at each of the eleven rounds of Britain’s leading motorsport series, remaining at the heart of events with naming rights for the pit lane, in addition to new visually striking trackside branding.
The popular eBay Fast Forward Award returns for a second season after its introduction last year and the award features at each round to recognise individual riders who make the most improvement from their starting to finishing position in each race.
eBay connects and empowers communities around the world and remains the naming rights holder to the eBay Pit Walk, where thousands of fans across the season get the opportunity to get closer to their heroes and connect with the stars of the show on main raceday.
The new agreement will feature a new element for 2023 with the naming rights for the all-important qualifying format that determines the starting grid for the opening Bennetts BSB race of the weekend. At all but three events, eBay Qualifying will see the usual fast and furious Q1 and Q2 sessions, each of 12 minutes duration, whilst the events at Donington Park GP, Brands Hatch GP in the summer and Cadwell Park will stage the even more intense one lap Superpole format.
The extended partnership also features the support of grassroots motorsport activities, where many have their first experiences on track enjoying the thrills and participation of club racing. eBay will be the title sponsor across two highly successful series on both two and four wheels: the No Limits ACU Endurance Motorcycle Championship and MSVT Trackday Trophy.
