Alex Olsen drew first blood as the action began at Knockhill this morning as he beat Richard Kerr by 0.037secs.
The Cumins by Team IWR Honda rider set a best lap of 48.760secs to hold off last year’s Knockhill winner, as Scotsman Lewis Rollo was third. Joe Talbot ended the session fourth with Alastair Seeley fifth.
