McAMS Yamaha’s Jason O'Halloran is ready to try and repeat Yamaha’s race-winning success this weekend as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Snetterton.
Last season eventual Champion Bradley Ray completed a hat trick of wins at the Norfolk circuit and O’Halloran arrives at round five off the back of a double podium last time out at Knockhill as he bids to climb the standings.
O’Halloran said: “I am looking forward to Snetterton after Knockhill as we had two podiums there and then the crash in the last race whilst leading so that wasn’t ideal, but it was a strong weekend for us all round.
“I have had a couple of weeks off after that so now I am looking forward to getting going again at Snetterton – a track that I enjoy and where I had my first ever BSB race win a few years ago now. I have happy memories of the place, won on the Yamaha there in 2021, so looking forward to getting going.
“It certainly won’t be easy for us this year, a few of the other bikes have some pretty serious top speeds, so we are going to have to work hard over the weekend to maximise our package and where we can be fast.
“I am looking forward to some strong races, it is a good run of tracks for us now with Snetterton and then Brands Hatch, Thruxton and Cadwell Park – all tracks that I enjoy racing it and it is a great part of the year for us.”
