Richard Cooper made it five wins from five Main Event starts as he fought Thomas Strudwick all the way to the flag, taking the win by just over a second.
Cooper hit the front from a second row start into turn two on the opening lap as Strudwick shot up to second from the third row and the pair stayed locked at the front for the whole race, Strudwick missing the chance to challenge on the final lap after accidentally hitting the kill switch.
Barry Burrell took third, 1.723secs behind Strudwick as polesitter Nikki Coates took fourth, just ahead of series rookie Levi Day.
