James Nagy took the second Heat victory by just 0.030secs from a charging James Kelly after a close scrap at a wet Brands Hatch.
As polesitter Thomas Strudwick looked to struggle in the unrelenting rain, Nagy got an incredible start from the third row to lead over the line at the start of lap two, holding the lead all the way to the final lap.
Despite a move by Kelly, Nagy was able to hold his line out of Clearways and charge to the line first. Barry Burrell was third, just ahead of series debutante Levi Day as Strudwick took fifth.
