Alex Olsen kept himself at the top of the timesheets at the end of day one with a hot lap of 1min 26.471secs, 0.025s quicker than championship leader Dan Linfoot.
Linfoot held onto second spot, as Richard Kerr was third, Alastair Seeley fourth and Lewis Rollo fifth. However, Joe Talbot, who finished sixth in the session, held fifth overall at the end of the day thanks to his fastest lap in FP1.
