Luke Mossey will remain with the Tactix by Lloyd & Jones BMW Team for a second consecutive campaign in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship to complete their two strong rider line-up for the 2024 season.
Mossey was a podium finisher with the Liverpool-based Team this season, celebrating a return to the top three at Donington Park and is now fully focused on building on their opening season next year when the Championship gets underway at Circuito de Navarra for the opening round in April.
Mossey said: “I’m really happy to announce I’ll be staying with L1 Racing in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for 2024. We showed a lot of potential this year and to get back on the podium at the end of the season was fantastic. We have updates for 2024 so I’m looking forward to building on this year and fighting back at the front every round next season. A big thanks to John, Joe and the team for their trust and loyalty in me, and 2024 can’t come quick enough.”
Team Principal John Jameson commented: “I am thrilled to announce re-signing Luke Mossey to L1 Racing for the 2024 season. Entering our third year together, Luke has been an invaluable asset to the team, demonstrating his talent, tenacity, and an unwavering commitment to our shared goals.
“His determination and consistent performances have been instrumental in building momentum throughout 2023, and we believe this will play a pivotal role in success into the new campaign. We are excited to continue this journey with Luke, and I have every confidence that our partnership will yield even greater achievements in the season to come. Once again, we can’t thank our partners and sponsors enough for their continued support. Without their commitment to the team, none of this would be possible.”
