Tommy Bridewell had his first taste of the Honda Racing UK Fireblade in Portimao today (Monday 4 December) as he completed an initial shakedown with the team at a private test.
Bridewell joins the team for 2024 Bennetts BSB to run the number one plate for his title defence, and the test marked the first opportunity for the reigning champion to work with the team including new crew chief Chris Pike in preparation for next season.
Bridewell said: “It wasn’t the best conditions for my first ride out on the Honda, but it’s still great to get started on our 2024 preparations. It definitely put a big smile on my face.”
