Cameron Hall set the pace as the long-awaited Cadwell Park round roared into action this morning as he led Jacob Hatch by 0.398secs.
Hall clocked a best lap of 1min 32.181secs during opening practice, as Hatch held off championship leader Aaron Silvester to end the session second.
Cameron Dawson was fourth as Sam Laffins rounded out the top five.
