Sullivan Mounsey took victory in the opening R&G British Talent Cup race at Thruxton by a slim 0.020secs over Amanuel Brinton.
Mounsey, who had led for most of the 14-lap race, was in control as the pack entered the final lap and was ready when Brinton made a move, quickly coming back and managing to keep ahead to the line.
Championship leader Evan Belford was third after being hit with what appeared to be an issue after a few laps, ending the race just 0.285secs behind Brinton as Ollie Walker took fourth with Rhys Stephenson fifth.
