Alastair Seeley took control in as the National Superstock pack hit the track, beating Richard Kerr to the top spot by 0.177secs – before taking a tumble from his SYNETIQ BMW.
Seeley emerged unscathed, as multiple Thruxton winner Alex Olsen was third quickest, just under half a second off Seeley’s pace.
Meanwhile, Lewis Rollo clocked the fourth best lap on the Aprilia, with Joe Francis fifth under Kawasaki power.
