Lee Johnston heads the grid for today’s Sprint race after beating Luke Stapleford by 0.287secs.
The Ashcourt Racing rider’s lap of 55.118s was enough to power him to the top spot, as Stapleford held off Jaimie van Sikkelerus for second.
Tom Toparis will start from fourth position behind van Sikkelerus while Rhys Irwin will line up fifth.
In the GP2 battle, Cameron Fraser got the better of Joe Collier and the pair will start from 18th and 19th spots respectively, with third quickest GP2 runner Harry Rowlings starting from 22nd.
