Richard Cooper and Christian Smith both took wins in the first ever ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F900 R Cup Heats.
FHO Racing BMW’s Cooper saw off a tough challenge by Michael Rutter to take the heat one win by 0.656secs as Nikki Coates crossed the line third.
Heat two proved to be much more frantic up front, as Smith twins Christian and Kieran swapped the lead several times along with Thomas Strudwick, but the win finally went to Christian, with Kieran 0.054s behind in second as Strudwick took third.
