Tommy Bridewell is gearing up for his debut with the PBM team as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship kicks off this weekend at Silverstone (April 7/8/9) as he prepares to kick off the season with BeerMonster Ducati.
Bridewell ended third in last year’s title chase, behind Bradley Ray and new teammate Glenn Irwin and is feeling optimistic after the initial pre-season tests.
Bridewell said: “It has been a positive period for me, joining the PBM team and getting the first experiences of the BeerMonster Ducati. The team did a mega job when we were in Spain and we had two and a half good days on track luckily and generally the feeling of the bike and working with my new crew chief Paulo and my guys, has been really easy transition. I feel at home with the team already and feel like I have been there a long time.
“I am looking forward to round one and I am hoping for dry conditions, but we had a brilliant feeling with the bike in the wet too at the Silverstone test and it is the best I have felt on the Ducati since 2019, so the camp is happy and I think it is going to be a brilliant weekend. We will have to work hard during the weekend, but I am looking forward to getting it started.”
