Rory Skinner set the pace in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Knockhill, firing the Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Racing Kawasaki to the top of the times by 0.036s as the local contender bids for a podium return.
Skinner held off the Rich Energy OMG Racing Yamaha pairing of Kyle Ryde and Bradley Ray to top the session with McAMS Yamaha’s Jason O'Halloran and Tarran Mackenzie, who returned to action after his qualifying crash yesterday.
Danny Buchan was sixth fastest for SYNETIQ BMW ahead of Honda Racing UK’s Glenn Irwin, with the MCE Ducati pairing setting the same time in eighth and ninth positions. Lee Jackson completed the top ten for the Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Racing Kawasaki team.
