Rory Skinner is gearing up for his second Bennetts British Superbike Championship season with the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki team and the young Scot began his 2022 campaign with a positive start at the opening Official Test.
Skinner was a podium finisher in his rookie Superbike season in 2021 and at the first R&G Official Test of the season, the Kawasaki contender topped the penultimate session, ending in fifth place overall on the combined times.
Skinner said: “For me the first test went really well and it felt really good to be back out on the Superbike after a long winter off as I haven’t ridden since Brands Hatch - it is never easy jumping back on!
“We worked through a lot of things and worked through a lot of what we needed to do from our plan. We had a strong one lap pace when we were not trying to do it, so that was nice and to be very consistent when we were on a race run, which was good as well.”
