Joe Sheldon-Shaw will make his full-time debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship this season, joining the NP Racing BMW team after initial appearances in the class last year.
The 22-year-old from Sheffield made his debut in Bennetts BSB last season at Donington Park after competing in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, and now returns for his first full season after joining the NP Racing BMW team.
Sheldon-Shaw said: “I’m very excited to be able to get a full season under my belt in the Superbike class with the NP Racing BMW team. We will be trying our best and take it step by step to make progress throughout the season. I’m so grateful that Neil and all of my family, friends and sponsors have made this possible and I can’t thank each and every one of them enough.”
Team Owner Neil Pearson commented: “I'm excited to be working with Joe for the 2022 season. He will be running under the NP Racing banner and I think will prove to be a huge asset to the team. We are looking forward now to testing, so that we are ready for the opening round at Silverstone.”
