World Superbike Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu and his Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK teammate Andrea Locatelli wowed the crowds at Cadwell last weekend during the Bennetts British Superbike Championship round, admitting they would like to return!
Razgatlioglu’s characteristic stoppies were showcased to the packed spectator banks, whilst Loka demonstrated his skills with a stand up wheelie lasting the entire start/finish line, with the pair taking on the Mountain in style!
Razgatlioglu said: “I had a lot of fun at Cadwell Park, finally riding the circuit. I have seen many videos of the ‘Mountain’ so it was nice to ride this famous track.
“We only had three full laps, so on my first two I tried to learn and then jumped on lap three! That was fun, but my favourite part of the circuit was the last part in the trees, the changes of direction are very nice to ride.
“I would like to ride more here, and maybe one day race! It was nice to spend time with the McAMS Yamaha team and see so many fans at the circuit. I hope to be able to come back soon!”
Locatelli said: “That was very good fun, the track is very different to anywhere I have ridden before. It’s so narrow and a lot of the time you cannot see through the corner. I would like to spend more time getting to know the track as it’s very fun to ride.
“I also enjoyed watching the BSB and some of the support races, Cadwell is a very nice track to watch at and there are a lot of fans around the track, it was nice to meet them. Thank you to McAMS and Yamaha for a very nice day.”
