Jack Kennedy continued to lead the way at Donington Park as he beat off a charge from Bradley Perie to scoop pole ahead of the Sprint race.
The Mar-Train Racing rider clocked a 1m:07.977s lap to edge Perie by 0.166s as Perie’s Appleyard Macadam team-mate Harry Truelove picked up the final front row spot.
Lee Johnston will head the second row in fourth place, just ahead of Sam Munro.
In GP2, Jack Scott kept control as he finished eighth overall. Second GP2 bike was Cameron Fraser, with Harvey Claridge third.
