Jack Kennedy continued to take charge at Oulton Park as he powered to pole by more than two seconds quicker than the rest of the field.
The Mar-Train Yamaha rider clocked a lap of 1m:37.681s, 2.104s clear of Zak Corderoy who lines up second on the grid today, just ahead of the returning Luke Stapleford.
Fourth quickest and heading the second row will be Lee Johnston ahead of Harry Truelove.
In the GP2 class, Cameron Fraser emerged quickest, just over half a second faster than Jack Scott with Harvey Claridge third.
