Jack Kennedy will once again start from pole after topping the timesheets with a 1min 37.299sec lap.
The newly re-crowned champion held off GP2 rider Jack Scott by 0.328secs as Luke Stapleford finished third.
Bradley Perie ended the session fourth to lead row two, just ahead of Rhys Irwin.
Jake Archer was the second best of the GP2 runners, finishing the session 16th overall and just one spot ahead of third-placed GP2 rider, Harvey Claridge.
