Shaun Winfield led the way in free practice one as he beat last year’s double Thruxton winner Alex Olsen to the fastest lap by a mere 0.009secs.
Third fastest was Joe Francis, ahead of Aussie Billy McConnell as Ireland’s Richard Kerr rounded out the top five.
