Billy McConnell will start today’s Pirelli National Superstock Championship with MotoNovo Finance race from pole after beating Richard Kerr to the top spot by 0.031sec.
McConnell’s best lap of 48.667sec was enough to keep Kerr at bay as Joe Francis – who led the weekend’s first session – took his first front row of the season.
Brayden Elliott will head the second row, alongside FHO Racing with Kobelco’s Alex Olsen in fifth position.
