O'Halloran: “I am absolutely committed to ending the season on a high”

Jason O'Halloran has vowed to bounce back from Oulton Park last weekend, as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Donington Park for the penultimate round of the season.

The McAMS Yamaha rider had a luckless weekend in Cheshire, crashing out of two races after contact with other riders in two incidents. The Australian sat out of the final race of the weekend and a triple DNF now means he holds fifth place in the overall standings ahead of this weekend’s three races.

Donington Park earlier in the season was the scene of O’Halloran’s first win of the season, which he turned into a double and so he is bidding to have a strong return.

O'Halloran said: "Fortunately, after a check up following Oulton Park we have been given the all clear to race. I'm a bit battered and bruised but we've seen improvement in the few days off and I am feeling good and very keen to bounce back at Donington this weekend.

“It's a strong track for us, we won two races there earlier in the year and I am absolutely committed to ending the season on a high and taking McAMS Yamaha back to the top step where we belong."
